Operations Director
Ashfoam is one of the leading mattress and furniture manufacturers in Ghana and part of a vertically integrated industrial group operating across Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and the GCC.
The company operates multiple production facilities in Ghana, covering:
- Flexible polyurethane foam production
- Mattress manufacturing (including spring, foam, and rebonded products)
- Furniture manufacturing (wooden structures, upholstery, and MDF products)
- Fiber and linen manufacturing
Operations are supported by:
- A nationwide distribution network
- A fleet of over 100 vehicles handling supply and delivery
- An extensive retail and showroom footprint
- Integrated supply of raw materials through affiliated companies
Ashfoam employs several thousand people and produces a wide range of bedding and furniture products tailored to the local market.
We are starting the search for a COO / Operations Director for Ashfoam.
This is a critical hire. The goal is to bring in a strong operator who can modernize our factories, install systems, and take full ownership of day-to-day operations.
Profile We Are Looking For:
- 10+ years in manufacturing operations
- Must have been: Plant Manager // Operations Director // Manufacturing Director
- Experience in: Mattress / furniture / foam (preferred) Hands-on profile (factory-floor oriented, not office-based)
Key Responsibilities
- Run all factory operations (foam, mattress, furniture)
- Improve production efficiency, yield, and output
- Implement KPIs and reporting systems
- Improve warehouse, stock control, and supply chain
- Improve delivery timelines and fulfillment
- Build structure and accountability across operations
- Train and manage local teams
